No Smoking
Readers may be interested to know that as of last weekend (Jan 11th), smoking is banned in any indoor facility in all of Taiwan. I'm really surprised by this, but optimistic that it will be succcessful. In the past, we might stop for a quick bite to eat at a little shop but after beginning to eat another patron would light up without even thinking about the fact that there's a kid nearby. Well, no more - thank goodness!

I loved this when they did it in MN. Everytime I go to a bar, I revel in the fact that I can breathe and don't have to wash my clothes and hair the second that I walk in the house.
Yeah Taiwan!
